Beaverton Oregon Things To Do
It is never surprising when someone says they plan to move to Beaverton or another nearby Portland suburb. It's the last weekend in May, and it looks like the weather won't be playing a part in Portland.
The map above shows Beaverton, Portland and Washington County, Oregon, as well as parts of Washington and Multnomah counties. Portland postcodes and addresses are in the lower left corner of the map at the top right of this page. Washington is home to Portland International Airport and the University of Oregon campus.
One big difference is that the western hillside of Portland is usually home to the Bridlemile schools, where the western slope is home to mostly Beaverton schools. The schools here are mostly ok, although not very highly rated, which is a bit strange because we are so close to Portland.
The West Beaverton Neighborhood is very community-oriented, has many hiking trails and parks and is located near Sexton Mountain Canyon Rd. You see people everywhere, on paths, sidewalks and streets, but also on bike paths, on foot, by bike and by bike - sharing. We explored various waterways in the Portland area in various locations, including Jantzen Beach, Tualatin and Lake Oswego. Beaverton also has a number of great parks and hiking trails for hiking, cycling, skiing and snowboarding.

One of our favorite routes for a bike ride is the Beaverton Trail, which can even be connected to the bridge that leads from Cook Park over the bridges to Tualatin. The ride and views are breathtaking, and there are some breathtaking views. We started in SW Portland and took this route to get quickly to Beavertons and Tigard. This is one of my favorite trail bike rides when you're riding from Beaverston, Oregon, to Tigards Oregon and back.

In the northern end of the neighborhood, BridgePort Brewpub is a popular place and claims to be Oregon's oldest craft brewery, but an independent brewery has pulled out. Com), which is run by Portland-based McMenamins Brewery, has several water points, including an impressive rooftop bar. Beaverton is located in the heart of Old Town Beaverton, Oregon, making it easy to walk or even stay in the shops, cafes and restaurants there. A short 20-minute drive will take you to the hotel and you can cycle through the quiet streets of the neighbourhood that surround it. The journey from Portland to Emeryville or Oakland requires several stops and can take at least 16 hours, compared to about 10 hours by car. Getting further - far-flung West Coast cities like San Francisco or Seattle are more expensive and time-consuming - but even if you live or work in Portland, your office can be outside Portland.
