Beaverton Oregon Sheraton Hotel
The 230-unit hotel and apartment complex is part of a $1.5 million redevelopment project in the Beaverton area. On April 23, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Terpenne Hotel, the first of two new apartment complexes in Beaverton. An office building with an area of 5,000 square metres and a car park with 3,500 parking spaces are also planned in this area. Work is also underway on an amphitheater with 1,200 seats on the corner of Broadway and Main Street.
If all goes well, the hotel will help dramatically reshape the landscape in the centre of Beaverton, with 230 apartments. If all goes well, it will open just a few steps from the central light rail station, just a few blocks from downtown.
It will complete the vision set out almost a quarter of a century ago when plans for what is now known as the Round were first announced. The community vision plan adopted by Beaverton in 2010 had to determine the future of mixed use, and the first construction of the loop had solved its problems. With 230 units (see separate chapter), the first phase of construction of the cultural center will be completed this summer. Construction of the arts center is scheduled to begin in the fall, provided the fundraiser meets its overall goal of $46 million.
Ashish Patel, of the Canterbury Hotel Group, said the target completion date was for late 2020 or early 2021, with the first phase of the arts centre in autumn 2019 and the second phase in early 2020.
If the stay is less than seven days, guests pay for the entire stay for one week. Guests paying the weekly rate will be charged for their stay at check-in and the credit card containing the reservation will be charged the stated rate. For stays of seven days, the guest must pay one week in advance, but for stays of more than five days or up to seven days, he must pay in advance. Reservations can be cancelled at any time during the booking period and even if cancelled, they must be cancelled within 30 days of check-in.
The month is payable on the first night of the stay and does not exceed $50 tax per month per pet, but will not be charged if not more than $150 tax for pets. The monthly rate is $1,500 per week, no more than $100 tax on pets and no more than $500 per day for guests.
Guests who cancel or fail to show up within 24 hours of their prepayment will lose their non-refundable deposit of $3 per night. Guests who cancel or will cancel after the first night and cannot prove they have paid the room will lose their deposit (including taxes) of $1,000.00.
